Super rare and highly sort after is this Vintage 1963 Vox JMI Coper panned AC15 4 Input Combo with the famous EF86 Preamp tube which was found in these early amps.

Here is a piece of history and the Holy Grail Of amplifiers.

The amplifier has been fully serviced and has had the usual caps and resistors that have needed to be replaced along the way as part of servicing the amplifier and ensuring it’s in great working condition for an amplifier this age.

While servicing the amp we added a speaker jack socket (Pictured) to the original speaker wire allowing you to disconnect the speaker easily if you wanted to run the amplifier into an extension cabinet.

The Vox alnico blue speaker is also original and verified via the date stamp showing a build date of 16th July 1963 and sounds lush and incredible with all those sweet harmonics that you had imagined from an amplifier of this period.

The amplifier is original apart from the cabinet which is a replacement cabinet made to the original Vox cabinet specs which is well built and sounds incredible and was made by Rod Jenkins here in Australia. Rods work is well know in Australia and his craftsmanship is fantastic.

We haven’t been able to track down the original cabinet or why it was changed over at some point hence why we have priced it well below what it would sell for if it had the original cabinet as well at over $10,000

If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to give us a call or drop us a message.

the amplifier has been fully serviced and given a clean bill of health with a full new set of tubes.

also included is a padded amp cover to ensure the amp stays protected.
